It has been reported that the start of Chapter 3 breaks on many laptops and home computers, something to do with a missing graphics support module. If you play through and get to the Chapter 3 introductory screen, and can proceed after that, then you should be OK. There is an attached readme file that tells folks to go to fugazi URLs and download the supported modules. I would not do that for a one-off game.
Previous saves are not working. So frustrating to go back and start over from the beginning!
