The settings are completely swapped.
If you set it to English, Italian appears.
If you set it to Italian, English appears.
In the game itself, when the language appears in English, everything else is in Italian. The phone, the settings, loading, saving… everything is simply swapped.

You can get Windows 11 for free. Just download an insider preview copy. It will run on older hardware. You can also download the Android version and run it in an emulator like LDPlayer, Blue Stacks, etc.
Ren’Py works on Windows 7 and any 64bit OS with Python installed… what’s your problem?
