Unwilling to slow down you join the Fast Attack Carrier Aquila as a fresh fighter pilot, heading out into the Dark. The long cold-war between the Roman Empire and the Chinese Commonwealth is breaking down; will you rise to glory, find love and claim your destiny?
Wings of Empire is an AVN Space Opera set in a world where the Roman Empire never fell. Three human powers face each other; the Han Commonwealth, the Japanese Shogunate and the Roman Empire; a long cold war finally coming apart and galactic war looming. It draws inspiration from books like the Honorverse, Lost Fleet and the Alliance-Union universe, and shows like Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Space Battleship Yamato, Starship Troopers and Battlestar Galactica. It’s a story of romance, politics, space combat and relationships forged under fire.
Like my previous games (Love of Magic, Morningstar: Book of the Fallen), this is an AVN with sandbox and RPG elements. You have a space-based combat system and minigames (both skippable for those more interested in the story), and a Persona inspired progression with fixed events and free time to explore the world.
