Why the fucking mini games.
Just like sandbox and using the Unity engine instead of renpy. Some devs would rather make video games rather than visual novels.
Apparently sandbox(free roam) can be turned off in preferences. If the dev ditches the mini games and the storylines about owed money and crazy neighbor calling the cops there may be something here. Keep it lighthearted and fun and save the potential dark paths for a different game.
