Claire’s Quest – New Version 0.29.4 [Dystopian Project]

CLAIRE’S QUEST is a dark fantasy game set in a world reminiscent of the early Renaissance, and made using RPGMaker MV. However, unlike the majority of RPGMaker games out there, the game is totally devoid of combat. Instead, gameplay revolves around dialogue, decision-making, and occasional puzzle-solving, with a heavy emphasis on the story and on replay value.
You, the player, take the role of Claire, a desperate refugee fleeing an invasion of her homeland that has taken everything away from her. Thrust into a world without innocence, where the very worst of humanity and all its societal evils are on full display, Claire seems doomed to meet with a dark fate… Will you fight to prove otherwise, or make her succumb to her basest desires?

New scene available: the lesbian threeway scene, that forms the final part of the Nicole’s Awakening quest. Also added to the Gallery.
You can now ‘spend the night’ with Nicole after progressing far enough in the Nicole’s Awakening quest.
The torturer’s little walkabout has been restored to Fort Amberley.
The tunnels under Fort Amberley are now considered inclement conditions, and prolonged exposure there will get Claire sick.
Claire can now give away all of her money to the Grim Refugee at the start of the Prologue path for the Refugee Camp for a +1 Defiance boost.
Some graphics have been added to certain activity prompts, such as pickpocketing.
‘Boots’ gift item was missing from the clothier shop in Portside Markets, has now been restored.
Lootable chests that refresh over time have been relocated to mostly be inside shops, which makes more sense rather than having them lying around in the open.
Fixed the breakfast at the start of the introduction being difficult to ‘click’ for mouse-using players.
Fixed the timer not going away if escaping during the ‘Schism’ quest down the latrine without enough Defiance.
Fixed the Eldritch Thurible being given as an item instead of the Wormtongue when harvesting Wormtongue.
Should have fixed the ‘wall climbing’ issue in the Badlands map tiles.
Fixed a bug where chatting with Nicole while she’s at the tannery causing a note about militia mustering to be read out instead
Fixed a bug with being able to access High Sister Rose’s chambers and accidentally restart the intro the Temple questline during Schism
