Wings of Empire is an AVN Space Opera set in a world where the Roman Empire never fell. Three human powers face each other; the Han Commonwealth, the Japanese Shogunate and the Roman Empire; a long cold war finally coming apart and galactic war looming. It draws inspiration from books like the Honorverse, Lost Fleet and the Alliance-Union universe, and shows like Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Space Battleship Yamato, Starship Troopers and Battlestar Galactica. It’s a story of romance, politics, space combat and relationships forged under fire. Like my previous games (Love of Magic, Morningstar: Book of the Fallen), this is an AVN with sandbox and RPG elements. You have a space-based combat system and minigames (both skippable for those more interested in the story), and a Persona inspired progression with fixed events and free time to explore the world.

few considerations.
First of all, the spaceships are pretty colser to the “star citizen”‘s ones.
Rendering is not too bad but animations are pretty “poor”; most of the games are better.
Minigames (simulator), at least, are little enjoying, since are not the usual stupid ones (like other games).
to sum up: 2 stars (in my opinion).
