Technical/Updates:
– Complete On-Screen keyboard display for Non-Steam deployments
– Refactored the way Cutscenes work to simplify them and make them less brittle
– Created a script importer to avoid hand coded cutscene errors. Specifically the speaker issues.
– Re-skinned UI to make menus & other HUD items more consistent and legible. (Some items still being worked on)
– Fixed how we package the content to resolve several loading performance issues with scenes.
– Removed the “Loading” message for normal gameplay. Left it in when you’re loading from a saved game.
– Added controller support for most of the game.
– New Lawn mower mini-game for new quest.
– Fixed issue that could cause crashes when opening menus too many times.
Quests:
– Help Mrs. Peterson (Violet’s Mom) with the lawn.
– Will only be available if you chose to help her on your first meeting (D&D night).
– If in Adventure mode, you’ll get a new mini-game (see above).
– If her corruption rating is high enough you get a scene in the shower.
